If my husband and I claim married but withhold at a single rate (claim 0) are we still able to file together or do we have to file separately?

We just got married and want to file together but we also want to be less likely to pay at the end of the year. Is filling as married but claim zero the same outcome as the above question?

Your withholding has nothing to do with the filing status you use. You can file married filing jointly or married filing separately. It is almost always better to file jointly than separately.

"just got married" In 2018, or in 2019?

I should have stated in my answer that you can only file married if you were married on or before 12/31/18. If not, you must file as single unless you qualify to file as head of household.
