If my employer is in Kansas, but I work out of my home in Michigan - do I need to file taxes for Kansas?

If my employer is in Kansas, but I work out of my home in Michigan - do I need to file taxes for Kansas?
Most likely not. When you receive your W-2, you will be able to tell by looking at box 15 to see the state and then box 16 and 17 for state wages and taxes withheld.
If your employer withheld Kansas income taxes, then you would need to file a Kansas Non-Resident return to claim those monies withheld.
