If my baby is due in late Nov. to early Dec. will I be able to claim him/her on my 2018 tax return?
Yes, if you are currently expecting your baby, you would get the entire tax deduction for the year your baby was born. Your dependent is considered living with you for the entire year (12 months) even if she was born on December 31, 2018.

Yes, if you are currently expecting your baby, you would get the entire tax deduction for the year your baby was born. Your dependent is considered living with you for the entire year (12 months) even if she was born on December 31, 2018.
