If me and my spouse are married but seperated can i claim her for the 6 months that she lived with me as a dependent?

If me and my spouse are married but seperated can i claim her for the 6 months that she lived with me as a dependent?
No, you can't claim a spouse as a dependent and you can't take dependents based on partial years.
You can claim her personal exemption if you are married filing separately, and you provided more than half her financial support over the whole year, and she has less than $4050 of taxable income, and if she does not file a tax return.
