A joint return reports all income from both spouses. It’s okay if only one spouse has income.

If you are filing a joint return, the name listed first on the Form 1040 is the name the software is going to address as "you" while you are going through the software.  The software does not know who is sitting at the keyboard.   It will say "you" to the first name.   So...answer accordingly as you go through the questions.

You can file a joint return even if one spouse had little or no income.

And in most places on a joint return when Turbo Tax says "you" it means either of you.  Did you use Turbo Tax last year for 2022?  Did you get married in 2023?
