@philipleroylutz if you are expecting a refund for a 2018 tax return, you may want to call you state revenue office before going through the efforts.  It is probable that the State has a 3 year deadline to file, similiar to the IRS deadline.  for Federal, the deadline to file a 2018 tax return for a refund was April 15. 2022.
