The form 8862 on a 2021 has nothing to do with income you may have had in 2019 or 2020.
On the 2021 return you are claiming the EIC and the IRS says you must fill in the 8862 in order for them to process your claim ... https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-8862
Your post refers to tax years 2019 and 2020. I also see that you're using the online version of TurboTax. The only version can only be used to file a current tax year return, which right now is 2021. Nothing seems to match up in your post. Can you clarify what tax year you are reporting income for, and what program you are using? Again, you can not use the online version of TurboTax to complete a 2020 tax return or earlier.
Yes,keeps rejecting my federal taxes saying I need to fill out a 8862 but I don't have records of income from June 24th 2019-to end of year but thank you all for the help...so just to be clear one more time, what's the best option or only option, already using TurboTax Deluxe😉
Or what do I even put on it
Since you did not clarify, I can only assume you are attempting to e-file a 2019 tax return prepared with the CD/Desktop version of TurboTax 2019.
Note that you can not e-file a prior year tax return. You have to print it, sign it and mail it to the IRS.
I don't have records of income from June 24th 2019-to end of year
Really confusing on how you are able to report anything for the 2019 tax year, if you don't have a W-2 or any other records of income for 2019.
