If I've been supporting my qualified and verified disabled ex-wife for the last 3 years. How do I get this dependent credit for previous years I supported & not claimed?

I verified that she qualifies as my dependent for this year and would like to know how I can get this credit for previous years that I did not claim her but supported her?

You can amend your 2015 and  2016 returns to claim your ex-wife as a dependent.
