If I've already paid my estimated taxes for the whole year but moved to another state, will I owe the new state estimated taxes as well?

I'm self-employed and have recently moved out of state. I have already paid my full estimated tax liability for the year. With Q4's estimated tax payment upcoming, will I owe my new state taxes on earnings made this quarter?

Yes ... you will owe the state where you lived when you made the income ... so if you moved during the year you will file part year returns for each state.

If your new resident state penalizes underpayment of withholding, they will expect you to make estimated state tax payments.
