If I recently got married & my husband & I want to file together but I haven’t changed my social security info can we still file?

If I recently got married & my husband & I want to file together but I haven’t changed my social security info can we still file?

You may file a joint return with your new husband using the name and Social Security Number on your current Social Security card.  

Remember that if (or when) you change your card, you will need to update your filing information the following year.
