If I received a 1099-misc form and the box 7 (nonemployee compensation) is filled out from payer, I need help putting it on my taxes please?

Can someone help me walk through the steps with a 1099-misc form?

You will have to upgrade to Turbotax self Employment

In TurboTax (TT), enter at:

- Federal Taxes tab

 - Wages & Income

Scroll down to:

   - Other Common Income

      -Income from Form 1099-Misc

When asked why you got the 1099-Misc, select “Freelancer or Independent contractor”
