If you have a 6 digit PIN issued to you by the IRS you need to enter it in order to e-file. Go to Federal>Other Tax Situations>Other Return Info>Identity Protection PIN and enter the six-digit PIN.
If you received a 6 digit Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) from the IRS for tax year 2022, you will receive a new IP PIN for each tax year from the IRS.
If not yet received from the IRS go to this IRS website to retrieve the IP PIN - https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/retrieve-your-ip-pin
