If I purchase your software to help me complete my North Carolina state taxes, will I have to pay again at then end to file the taxes?

Depends on whether you are buying form the Online software, or the Desktop/download software:

IF you use the Online software  (Deluxe or higher)  for both Federal and NC state...there is a  separate software fee for both the Federal part, and the State part....but the is no e-file fee for either (and no refund if, for some reason, you have to mail file).

IF you use the Desktop/download software...most, but not all versions come with one free state software download, but there is always a state e-file fee.  IF you buy a second state, there will still be an e-file fee to e-file that state. (though, you could always print and mail file the state forms without the e-file fee)
