If I purchase standard package can I update to permier and pay difference on line?

Yes, you can upgrade online after you have already begun your return.

In Turbo Tax Online, go to the blue bar at the top and click on Upgrade.

It will give you the option to add Premier to your existing return.

This Turbo Tax FAQ has directions for the Windows desktop version
