If I have updated my federal return, zeroing out my state tax payments, why can I not get my amended state tax return to reflect it?
I initially entered a guesstimate of my state taxes in federal. Then I went back and zeroed the state taxes in federal, but my CA state amended return is still showing the initial guesstimate as an amount that I already paid.

Hi,
For us to best assist you with this, please reach out to a Tax Expert directly by either selecting the "Live Expert" button in the online app or calling 1-800-4INTUIT (1-800-446-8848).
That way a tax expert can look at your particular screen and the underlying data and get to the bottom of the issue.
Please select a thumbs up to cheer below if this helps.
Best,
Karen
