If I have a 1099 misc because I am an independent contractor should it show self employment income as well as income from 1099 Misc under income? Seems duplicated.

If I have a 1099 misc because I am an independent contractor should it show self employment income as well as income from 1099 Misc under income? Seems duplicated.

The 1099MISC should only be entered as self-employment income in the self-employment section of TurboTax. Otherwise it may be duplicated.
