A $29.99 charge in TurboTax Free Edition is for PLUS Help & Tools, an optional package that includes transfer of last year's TurboTax info, 24/7 online return access, and specialist support. Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for more information: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/6424420

Our add-ons may increase your TurboTax Online fees but can help save you time and provide additional assistance and guidance.

However, if your TurboTax Online fees are higher than expected you can reduce them by removing add-ons:

· Remove PLUS More Help & Tools
