If I had credit card settlement agreements starting in 2020 but completed in 2021, would I get a 1099 for those? Or only any settlements that were completed in 2020?

You will get a 2020 Form 1099C for any settlements completed in 2020.  Those will be used to complete your 2020 tax return.  Forms 1099C were required to be mailed by 31 Jan 2021.  You should already have any applicable forms by now.

Thank you! I finally got ahold of them and had it resent. 🙂
