If i got divorced and remarried in the same year, how do i proceed with as far as divorced/married?

Your filing status for 2021 is Married and if you filing with your current spouse then you will be filing as Married Filing Jointly.

What the program wants to know is, what was your status as of December 31, 2021?

In your case, since you had remarried during the year, and were married at the end of the year, you’d select Married on the Let’s confirm your marital status screen.

Your filing status would most likely be Married Filing Jointly, although Married Filing Separately is another option.

I am a single mom if 5 children, divorced, and the ONLY source of income for this family. And the TurboTax App says I’m NOT Head of Household! How do I fix this?
