Is the Social Security disability your ONLY income for 2023? Use this trick that is allowed by the IRS so that you can e-file your federal return------enter $1 of interest income. That will put something on the line that lets you e-file. And if you can e-file your federal---you should be able to e-file the state.
Yes it is. I have always been able to just mail my Federal return and e-file my state return with no problem. Maybe they changed something up. Sorry for questioning your answer no offense at all towards you but are you sure I won't get in trouble doing your suggestion not wanting to go to jail lol
@tdacnfla3 No----no slammer for you! You are allowed to put the $1 of interest. And... you cannot e-file a state return unless you e-file the federal and the IRS accepts the federal ......so unless you want to mail both of them.....put a dollar on there.
Thanks so much for responding back and answering my questions. I really appreciate it 🙂
