If your efile is rejected, you might be able to change it to that option. There are 2 versions of the "up to 5 days early" product. One is free if selected to go to a Credit Karma Moneyspend , or $35 if you want it to go to your own bank account.
Since it's "up to" 5 days early, sometimes it's only 1 day early. Or if not early at all, it's not suppose to charge those who paid the $35. The 5 days is based on once the IRS has approved the refund and scheduled it to be sent.
Yes, if you already submitted your return, it is too late to request the 5DE offer. If for some reason your return gets rejected, you will have a chance to resubmit the return. But as long as it is pending or it gets accepted, you can no longer make changes.
