If the IRS or your state want any additional information they will request it by mailing you a letter.

Once you electronically file and it has been Accepted, you will not be notified by TurboTax if additional documents are needed.

Any correspondence after you filed will come directly from the IRS and by mail for any additional documentation is needed.
