If I file an extension, how long do I have to complete my taxes

You can efile it until Oct 15.  After that you will have to print and mail it.  You have 3 years to file to get a refund.  If you have a tax due the payment was still due on April 18, 2022.

Also, it's to late to file an extension. Extension filings had to be done before the original tax filing deadline of April 18th, 2022.
