If I failed to file my taxes after paying them through another payment plan and didn't return to file, how can I continue filing?

you can complete the returns in TT and still e file. make sure to enter those payments you made. if you paid timely and don't owe there is no penalty. if you owe there will be a penalty that can increase month by month.. it's computed on what you owed after 4/15 and when the amount was paid.
