If I didn't receive a W2 because I was unemployed what do I put as far as them wanting me to upload my W2?

I only started the last month of 2021 selling a few Items on ebay. Total that I received from Ebay is less than a $1,000. Do I need to claim that small amount. Also why is turbo tax demanding a W2 and not giving me the option to say I dont have one.

Enter w-2 in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen.  Click on Jump to w-2

On the screen Let's get your W-2 info select I don't have a W-2 and Continue.

Depending what you were selling on Ebay you may have to report the income received.  What exactly were you selling?

What you received was income from self-employment .  If the net income amount you received (income minus expense) was $400 or more then you are required to report the income from your self-employment.  To do this using TurboTax you will need to upgrade to the Self-Employed online edition.  Or you can purchase a download for one of the desktop editions.
