If I choose 'married filing jointly', does my spouse now also have to use TurboTax to file?
When you file as married filing jointly (MFJ), that filing includes your spouse's filing. Your spouse does not do a separate/additional tax filing.

If you choose Married Filing Jointly, you need to include both you and your spouse's income on the joint return.
