If I already set up a direct debit for my federal taxes due, is there a way I can go ahead and pay it now instead of the future date?

Of course~ The best way to do that is to call the IRS and speak to a representative there and let them know you are paying your balance in full and do not want the auto draft to happen. They will be able to assist you in the process. I would call to make sure they know not to do the auto draft even though your account can be paid in full.
