If I already did my 2021 taxes with turbo tax will I have to re-file since turbo tax is not doing the free filing

I filed my taxes like a day ago but now it’s being said that turbo tax is not doing filing nothing else free. So, I was trying to get a better understanding of this whole situation

Wait a minute ... if you filed what program did you use ???    Did you pay for one or use the TT FREE option ???

Just because TT is not participating in the IRS FREE FILE alliance doesn't mean they don't still have a free option if you qualify like they always have.

Did you click the big orange button that said "Transmit my returns now?"   If you did that, you e-filed and you cannot e-file again.   Did you enter all of your 2021 information?   Did you enter taxable income?   What form or document was your income reported on?  Did you already have a W-2?

Turbo Tax still has a free version.  They are just not participating in the separate IRS Free File program. Did your account say free when you filed?  Or did it ask for a credit card?  Or to deduct any fees from your refund?

We don't understand your question or what you heard.  If you filed and didn't have to pay then it was free.  Didn't it say Free at the top of the menu bar?

When you log in does the return status say PENDING ?   If so scroll down and click on VIEW ORDER DETAILS to see what you paid if anything ...
