If you did not include both Form W-2s on your initial return, you must amend that return and file Form 1040X. You cannot file a second return - each taxpayer files only one return each year and all income earned must be on this single return.
Here are instructions for how to amend your return, which must be filed by mail. Please wait until your initial return is processed and you have received your refund as you must know if your refund was adjusted prior to preparing your amended return.
Please note that depending on the amount of income you are adding, an amended return can result in a balance due (an amount which you must return to the IRS from your initial refund.)
If you have a balance due for 2019, please be sure to send it in before July 15, 2020, to avoid penalties and interest.
Well you were supposed to put ALL your income on the ONE tax return you file per year ... if you have already filed and did not put all the income on it AND it was accepted then you will need to AMEND the return AFTER the first return has been fully processed and you have the original refund in hand.
