Yes, you would pay self employment taxes, which include federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare. The IRS requires you to pay estimated taxes as you earn your money. 

 

You would pay your federal self employment taxes using Form 1040-ES, Estimated Tax for Individuals.

 

If your state has an income tax, you may have to pay estimated taxes also. Please contact the Department of Revenue in your state, or visit their website
