I will not be claimed by anyone this year but I may still be eligible to be claimed will that effect my money I get back from taxes?

If you can be claimed even if you were not claimed, you must check the box saying that someone else can claim you. You will not receive the stimulus payment and get certain credits such as the earned income credit.

Yes.  The question you have to answer on your tax return is whether or not someone can claim you, not whether they actually do so.  If you qualify as a dependent of your parents, you need to check the box so indicating.
