I will not be available to get my W-2 soon enough to file now and I will not be able to file until at least April due to my job. Is it fine to just file in April?

You can request an extension for filing, but an extension only gives you extra time to get your documents organized to file--if you owe any tax you are required to pay by the filing deadline. An extension does not give you es=xtra time to pay. Why can you not get to your W-2 etc. before April?

I will not owe money. I can not file earlier due to not having internet or mailing abilities at that time. Where can I go to file an extension?

Here is a link to the form to file for an extension. Print it out and complete and have someone you can totally trust mail it for you in March.https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4868.pdf
If you do not owe any tax there is not a penalty for filing late so you will be able to take care of it when you come home.

The extension is not ready yet. You can efile until mid October. If you are getting a refund there is no penalty or interest. But how would you know if you are getting a refund until you get your W2 and fill out a return?
