I will be taking a standard deduction on federal but will likely be itemizing for my state return. Which Turbo Tax product do I need?

You will need Deluxe to enter your itemized expenses for the state. Even though you are not itemizing and just taking the standard deduction on the federal return, you will still enter these expenses in the federal section. They will then transfer over to the state.
