I was told my taxes have been rejected

I started filing for the year 2024 with TurboTax. I never fully completed the process as a section about deductions started to confuse me. I instead went in person with another company and filed. The other company said my return was rejected because my returns had already been accepted elsewhere. Which I don’t understand since I never fully submitted my returns on TurboTax. How do I go about fixing this issue?

The first step would be to log back into the TurboTax account and see what the status is.

• If you were in the ONLINE version of TurboTax, you could not file unless you paid for the software.
• It will simply log in if nothing has happened.
• If it was somehow filed it will say accepted.  
• If it was accepted, TurboTax would have notified you by E-Mail.
• If it was accepted, and it was not complete you will have to amend your return in TurboTax.

You will have to wait for the original return to be completely processed.
