I was suppose to get $12,000 and I only got $7,000. Why didn’t I get all of my taxes and when am I suppose to?

Please explain. What $12,000 were you supposed to get? Are you talking about a refund from 2021 that was reduced by the IRS? Or do you mean you expected your 2022 refund to be $12,000 and it is $7000----not as much you expected it would be?

If the IRS adjusted your return, they will send a letter explaining the changes. That letter will have steps you can take if you dispute the changes they made. Only the IRS can give you any information on the changes to your filed tax return. Once the return is submitted, no one at TurboTax (or anywhere else) has access to your IRS tax account.
