I was paying my income tax through you I was only charged 60 but my taxes were not paid and that's what I paid for so what is going on???

I was paying my income tax through you I was only charged 60 but my taxes were not paid and that's what I paid for so what is going on???

Now, if you did owe... it is "Possible" that you did arrange the payment when you e-filed.....but TTX doesn't do it.....the IRS or the state do it.  And it only happens if the e-file is actually accepted (not just transmitted).

Print out your tax returns (Fed and State), and look at the Fed and state "Electronic Filing Instructions" sheets.  They should look like the ones below IF....IF..if those payments were arranged with your e-file.  Check the account numbers and date of withdrawal

....Sometimes it takes the IRS or State a few extra days to complete the Direct Debit...and be forewarned that some states don't allow the payment to be arranged when you e-file....and you have to pay them separately by check or use their own state tax payment website.

Turbo Tax just shows you the net of federal and state for your own info.  You will still get the full refund unless they keep it.  And you have to pay the other tax due.  So make sure you pay the IRS.  You can not have a tax due deducted from the other refund.
