The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provides certain employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year. It also requires that their group health benefits be maintained during the leave.
If your employer paid you during the leave, then this amount is taxable as wages and is included on your form W-2. The tax withheld on this amount is already included in the amount reported in box W-2 of your form W-2. You just have to report the amounts on your form W-2. There is no other credit to claim on your tax return.
