I was granted temporary guardianship in August of my soon to be adopted daughter (2024). Do I claim her as a dependent with the temporary guardianship?

When did the child begin to live with you?   If not until August, you cannot claim her as a dependent for 2023, because she was not with you for at least half of the tax year.
