I was covered under the ACA for part of the year and my employer the other part of the year. It isn't letting me enter my 1095-A with 0 for the time I wasn't under ACA?

Try leaving the fields blank instead of entering 0 and see if that works for you.  If you still get errors, then delete the 1095A form and re-enter, but just leave the fields blank instead of 0 for the months you did not have coverage through the ACA marketplace.
