I was charged more than 29.99. My refund was for 11061 and i was deposited only 10996.02 meaning 64.98 was taking out. Is there a reason why?

If you choose to deduct the TurboTax fees from your refund, there is a $34.99 Refund Processing Fee for that service, since an intermediary bank has to intercept your refund from the IRS, deduct the TurboTax fees, and then forward the balance to your bank. The bank charges for that service.

You can avoid the Refund Processing fee by paying your TurboTax fees with a credit or debit card instead.
