You used TurboTax to prepare a tax return, and your e-file was processed. The IRS could not have rejected it until after TurboTax transmitted it to the IRS. You used all of the TurboTax services that you paid for. TurboTax cannot guarantee that the IRS will accept your e-file, and TurboTax is certainly not responsible if you tried to file twice.
Did you actually file a tax return with another software company and forget that you filed? What happened?
Or did someone use your SSN on a tax return (or the SSN of one of your dependents) --- which resulted in your return being rejected. ???
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
