By the end of January the cab company should give you a W-2 or maybe a 1099NEC. Have you given them your Social Security number? Or do you own the cab yourself and work only for yourself? Have you asked them how they will report your income?
It depends. If the company considered you an employee or if you met the qualifications of an employee, then your company should send you a W2 around the end of January or sooner. Generally, an employee will fill out a W-4 prior to starting as well an I-9
The IRS considers you an employee if the company:
If you are an employee, then you will just enter your W-2 when you receive it which can be done in any version of TurboTax.
If you are not an employee, then you would be considered an independent contractor. If you are are an independent contractor then you should have tracked the amount of money you earned and expenses incurred and will need to use TurboTax Self-Employed to file a Schedule C with your return. The company will likely send you a 1099 in late January which should tell you how much you earned driving the cab. If they do not, you will still need to file the Schedule C using your income and expense records.
