I want to file a new return but I already started one. How can I start a new return with online TT?

Online is only good for 1 return per account.  Don’t use your account or you will overwrite your return and it will be gone.  And you have to pay for each account separately so it might get expensive.

You can start another return in TurboTax Online by:

1. Logging out if you are in your account
2. Choose what TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second return
3. Create your account screen
4. Set up a new login for the second return
5. Start working on the new return

this does not work, when i put the license number it says it's tied to the original account

Sign out of your current TurboTax account to avoid overwriting your previous return.

1. Go to TurboTax.com.
2. If your browser automatically logs you into the old account,
   1. Clear your browser's cache, cookies, and history
3. Enter your Email address
4. On the sign in page select New to TurboTax? Create an account
5. Enter your 
   1. Email Address
   2. Password
   3. Phone
6. Create an Intuit Account
