Yes, you can. You can login online to the IRS payment site and as long as you make your payment before the due date then you are all set. You should not set up direct debt till you are ready, then call the IRS and work with them on updating the information.

Do I go ahead and file on turbo tax saying I want to proceed with direct deposit? I am afraid they will try to pull the initial installment out of my bank account when I would lIke to pay with CC.
