I've never printed out and mailed in my return(s) and I've always gotten my return. This time it say "ready to mail" but I've filed electronically. Do I need to do more?

That statement usually means that the return was not efiled and is waiting for you to print and mail it. What does the TurboTax web site say about the status of your return if it was efiled? <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp">https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efi...>

If it was not transmitted then you did not actually transmit your return for efiling. If it was transmitted but rejected, you would have to fix the reason for rejection and resubmit it or you could choose to print and mail your return. If you are getting a refund, there is no penalty for late filing.

You can also still efile your return if it was never efiled.

Printed or Ready to Mail means you have to print out your return and mail it to the IRS yourself. So it has not been filed yet. How to change from Mail to Efile https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5561257

Turbo Tax will always say Ready to Mail. They don't know if or when you actually mailed it. And the IRS doesn't tell Turbo Tax when they get a mailed return.
