I've filled an extension, and paid the estimated tax before the due date. I'm e-filing, but TurboTax is asking me to pay taxes again. Should I select by check and ignore?

that may be because the extension payment is not reflected.

If you filed your extension through TurboTax, your tax payment should already be accounted for. Nevertheless, it's a great idea to review it for accuracy before you file your return.

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax, if it's not already open
  2. Search for estimated tax payments (use this exact phrase) and then click the Jump to link in the search results
  3. In the Payments with Extension section, select Start or Update next to the payment you submitted with your type of federal, state, or local extension. Make sure the amount shown is correct

if it is reflected but you still owe you can pay at the IRS website

https://www.irs.gov/payments

or mail a check  - refer to Turbotax filing instructions

the IRS will bill you for late payment penalties and interest or not pay at all then the IRS will bill you at some future date but the penalties and interest will be higher.
