I've filed federal and MN together already. Can't finish ND cause of struggling issues. Is there some sort of hold on my federal/MN refund, being I didn't finish ND?

With the new job I had gotten, I wasn't aware of the multiple states I needed to file in. I am aware now. I'm waiting for my federal/MN refunds, so I can finish filing my ND state taxes. Why I'm wondering if there would be some sort of hold on my federal/MN if I haven't finished ND?

No, the IRS nor MN would not delay your refund because you did not file your ND return.

Okay thank you for the reply.

I've used that refund tracker site, it doesn't say much besides it's being processed and nothing else. Thank you, I'm just being impatient during hard times. Things will get better.

It typically takes the IRS 21 days after acceptance if there are no issues. Some refunds may take longer if your return contains:

  1. Earned Income Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit
  2. Errors or if you did not have all your documents
