I utilized irs 915 which showed to would be receiving a refund. I completed turbo tax forms and it shows I owe $355 can someone help me understand why? thanks

What do you mean by "irs 915"? Are you referring to IRS Publication 915? That publication covers the tax treatment of Social Security benefits and tier 1 railroad retirement benefits. It does not discuss your overall tax return or whether you will get a refund or owe money on your tax return. There a lot of other things besides Social Security and railroad retirement benefits that affect whether the final result on your tax return is a refund or a payment due. You have to look at the total picture, not just Social Security and railroad retirement benefits.
