The e-filed tax return will not accept an attachment.
If there is an issue with the tax return the IRS will contact you by mail.
This happened last year because my granddaughter appeared on her father's 1095A but had to file her own return because of her own income, her father paid back the excess credit on his return but my granddaughter's refund was delayed because they wanted a letter of explanation and a copy of her father's 8962. Just wanted to avoid that this year. Any suggestions other than filing by mail?
