I turned 18 close to the end of the 2022 tax year, do I still have to file or am i exempt from the City Tax
So I am just a little confused on how this would work and what would require me to file my taxes. I turn 18 in September of 2022, I am put down as a dependent in my parent's tax returns. Am I supposed to fill my city tax still since I turned 18 that year or am I somehow still exempt?
Thank you

What city, in what state?
Turning 18 does not change your filing requirements for federal income tax.

If you lived or worked in Sidney, you will owe income taxes to them. Contact them to pay.
